Yesterday, I was staring at this good looking guy at UVU who was really far ahead of me..ok so people can have a hot back/walk/hoodie/hair/bootie/he looked hot ok? Anywyays..he stopped at the door, holding it open for me for like 1 minute before I even got to the door! It was just very nice, and generous, and kinda made my heart melt. It just surprised me, because sometimes there's those guys that are 'too cool' to be a gentleman, and I HATE that. So, I've started noticing who would even be acceptable to date! That's all for now. I'm liking these double digit weeks now! Austin's P-Day moved to monday's, so when I update it's not on the same day, but that doesn't matter! He's sick AGAIN. :( That poor boy! He had an infection in his lungs and throat, and had to go to the hospital! He's feeling better now that he's on meds, and they were able to find some others to teach! MISS HIM.

Christmas Break was sure fun! COnsidering I was home for almost a month! Not gonna lie though...I was very sad to leave, but i'm excited to start another semester. It still freaks me out that I'm in my SECOND semester of college. A little freaky dontchya think!? I do. Pictures from the break..

Our roommates Janey(who's getting married) and Krystal(who was crazy) moved out, so we got 2 new roommates! Elle Snedigar is on our side, and Amanda is on the other side! SHe bought us a nice tv, and wii for netflix, so basically, we watch movies every night! I'm loving these girls already and this semester is going to be great!!

I don't like the number 13..it's never a good one! So, let's hope this week goes by fast!! Because he left on the 5th, when it's the start of a new month I say it's one more month down, because..it's close enough!! SO 3 MONTHS DOWN! 21 more to go, and 4 more months until I get to talk to him on the phone again! yippee:) Like I've said before, Austy boy is a strict rule follower, so we haven't been emailing, and that's all I was hoping for this week! I just need to stay optimistic, and know that things will work out, and remember he just got there! They're having trouble with finding people to teach, because the Jehovah Witnesses are going crazy down there I guess..and once they baptize, the members can't speak with Mormons. Man am I proud of him and all the boys out there because they're doing amazing things!

Crafty Gifts

So...this break, while being home, I have decided to do a few crafts! Of COURSE from Pinterest, DUH! I took some ideas, and kinda made them how I thought they should look like! The picture below is what I made for my mom, and Austin's mom! I just got boards cut from Home Depot the sizes I needed, found paper at Hobby Lobby that were collaged music sheets, and then tore them and mod podged the paper onto the wood, and painted the letters (from Hobby Lobby) with a Martha Stewart black/glitter finish (which I looooved) and then hot glued the letters on! I really like how they turned out! This picture is just from my phone, so it's not great quality (come January 18th, I'll have the best camera phone ever, EEK!)

I know it's only January 3rd (plenty of people from singles ward told me this last night, while i was in craft-mode) but, to get a Valentine's gift to Aust, I need to send it ASAP! He hasn't gotten my Christmas gift yet, and that kills me! It's better earlier than late!! So, I also saw this cute idea on Pinterest, but changed it up a bit. This is my valentine's card that I made him! I really like how it turned out! And, I took pictures step-by-step, because it's a simple thing to make, and I always love home-made gifts, because they're from the heart! Ahhh!

First, trace and cut out your handprints, and strips of paper. And, if you know me, you know how much i LOVE my right hand :) not. But, I wanted to trace my own, not just mittens, because I wanted him to really know that they were my own hands!

I recently bought some oxfordy-heel-pump things from last chance, and they're mega cute. BUT i always have this obsession with heels, well shoes in general, and then once I get home I realize how tall they really are. Every boy back in my Provo ward are shrimps..but, I've already decided I'm not going to marry someone I can't wear heels with-even if it makes me more than 6 ft-just because I love wearing them! I always feel awkward when I'm a giant...I should get used to it..but HELP?! is this...ok?

12 WEEKS!!

Wow...my emotions have been quite the roller coaster lately! I haven't been able to communicate with Austin since he left the MTC, and so that's been really hard. I'm so blessed that his parents email me his emails every single week-I'm soooo thankful for that! I just haven't known how to contact him..mail takes 3-4 weeks, so I've been DearEldering and emailing him, and some of my emails have gone through, and some don't! So, it's been frustration not knowing if he's hearing from me! His parents were on a cruise during Christmas..and so he asked his mission president if he could call later, and I never heard or knew if that was going to work, so it's all been a kind of guessing game! I kick myself when I become selfish, because I shouldn't be! But, it's just a happy/hard constant thing!

Anyways.. we got at email, and I GET TO TALK TO HIM ON SATURDAYYYYYY!!!! I seriously am so so so so SO happy! He was so cute in his email saying..well after we talk, you can just hand her the phone or something..haha! I'm so HAPPY! here are some updated pictures!

Kill me. I never wanted to be late for my weekly post! AND yet, I knew it would happen. Someday's I forget what day it is at home! I didn't get an email until late last night forwarded from his sister, because his parents are on a cruise. Yesterday was a weird day, and I was out and about all day! But, still doing great, I just can't wait till I can actually hear from him.

Whereeeee to possibly begin. I just love being home! staying up late, and being able to sleep in! Sleeping in my big bed, having a big shower faucet, and having it be soft water, and tile-not gross old bath tub/shower, eating until I throw up, watching movies whenever I want-on a big tv, playing with nieces and nephews, loving the weather, and christmas shopping for others! I. LOVE. IT.

During Thanksgiving break we took formal family pictures in front of the temple for the first time! We are usually a casual beach family...so we decided to give it a whirl! I love this of my sisters and I...we like to call us the Kardashian sisters sometimes...a tall freak, and two midgets. We also like to think we're as good of looking as they are.. hehe

Beau had his farewell, and man oh man. I love that boy. I've known him since we were kids, but in High School we actually hung out. I've loved spending time with him, Ruth, Austin, and I, and then in Utah, and Montana. I love Beau Beau, and he seriously will be the best missionary in Bolivia!

Another reason why I love being home...they can stay entertained for hours with photobooth!

We got an email! He's now walking 20 MILES A DAY. excuse me, is that normal? He's loving it, and the Spanish is getting better to understand, but is still difficult to speak. Maybe it's because he's just quoting Nacho Libre ..he was so excited to do that! Haha, but he sounds great! I wish I could send him so much candy or gum or food to give to the little kids-he says it's sad to see them needing food! It makes me realize how thankful I am for everything I have!

It's week 10, and we haven't gotten an email:( A little sad, considering who knows when I'll hear from him next! But, happy another week is down!

This week was the most stressful yet. Doing everything from planning the Christmas party, to giving a talk, to studying for finals, and making a floorboard for Interior Design, but still finding time to party! I'm so glad to be lucky enough to come home as soon as i did. It started snowing Tuesday morning, and I knew it was time to leave! Suckas! Hehe :) I lucked out having all my finals Monday and Tuesday!

This past weekend, was my new and lovely friend Carlee's birthday, dance/ birthday party, and Beau's ugly sweater dance party. We had fun!!

I wanted to tell you about my vile experience. I have never gone through anything this gross in my life. The necklace that Austin gave me was on my neck last night, and i was taking it off (over my sink-never do this) and the heart charm just slid off, and into the drain. If this were to happen again, there would have been no freaking way it could've happened like that. Well, I started freaking out, and after reaching my finger into the gross slime, and not finding it, I decided to call the RA. Well, they didn't answer. So, I just decided to not use my sink, and make sure no one else did either. So, today on my way home from work I call them again, and the guy just straight up laughed at me! He said he'd call me in 2 hours because he wasn't home. Well, he called me, waking me up from my nap (a nap is still a nap at 830 right?) and i didn't answer. I finally decided to do it myself. YES, call me a plumber. The water had spilled over onto the cabinet floor, and I filled a whole trash bag with disgusting water, just from one valve. Then, I finally took out the whole thing, and it was stuck because there was so much hair. Tangled. Green Slime. The worst smell of my life. I took it to my bath tub, with a little dry heaving involved, and poured out the hair, brown water, slime, and my charm! Ta Da! :) Now, I have to go write my talk and study-yeah, cause I didn't plan the christmas party or anything...geez!!! xoxo

9 weeks-holy cajole

I can't believe it's already been 9 weeks. I mean, that doesn't sound long at all, but when I think of the day he left, or my birthday, or even Thanksgiving, it seems SO long ago. I don't know if that means it's going fast, slow, if its good, or bad!? It's been 64 days. I always thought not seeing each other for 30 days in the summer was hard, man oh man. It hanse' t been hard, but I definitely have gotten lonely. I have great days, and bad days. And, I'm feeling that the next couple weeks will be hard, just because I won't get a letter for a longggggggg time. Dang Mexico. But, I'll be home, so maybe I can get my mind off of it! But, when I get the family emails and they say this, it makes me miss him so much, and just remember how funny that little Austin is: "Apparently this is one of the nicest apartments in the whole mission. So thats a good thing. We killed 24 cockaroches today in the kitchen. My companion took a shower and came out and said whoo, that was nice and warm. Well, little did i know that the water is FREEZING cold. I didnt figure that one out til i turned it on and i yelled, "WHOOOOOO". haha that was only a 2 minute shower. pretty fast shower huh?" Excuse me....did I read that right? 24!?!??! EWWWWWWWWW. And that's a NICE apartment...he's got some great things in store! His whole letter was so happy and excited he was finally in Mexico. I'm so happy for him. He's changed so much, but only for the better. He's great!

This morning, my daily horoscope was the best thing I could've read. This week I have been planning our ward christmas party, i've had many stressful things going on like everyone else at this time of year, but everything has been working really well for me lately. I've just had to take a few breaths, and realize it. it reminded me how lucky I am, and that I should be thankful. And, I truly am. I'm so thankful I'm able to be up here in Utah, meeting many new and amazing friends, living in a nice apartment, I guess I could say I'm thankful for the cold weather....who am I kidding!? It sucks. But, it makes me not be such a wimp, and so thankful for beautiful Mesa. I'm so thankful I get to go home in 6 days...more like 5 1/2, and be home all the way until the 7th of January. I can't wait to go home, and just do whatever the heck I want! I hate when there's confrontation with the church, and it's really made me realize how thankful I am that I've been born into the gospel, and that I get stronger with it every single day. I love this time of year.

I get to talk to my favorite person ever in only a couple weeks!!! woo!

Something that stood out to me on my first day of Institute, was that my amazingggg teacher told us to pray for tender mercies. I decided to start praying for them everyday, and i've had a few days where i've noticed it, but today was definitely the most impacting. Last night I was so tired and ready to go to sleep, that I said a really short quick, prayer. And let me tell you, I've struggled with morning and nightly prayers until I've come up to school-I've made it a goal to do it. I still struggle with morning, but that's another story! So, this morning I woke up not feeling so great, and it took me so long to go to sleep, and I kept waking up. So, I took my sweet time to get ready, and kinda skipped class (sorry mom!). I needed to do a whole floorplan for interior design, and I had completely forgotten about it, so after searching for the rulers and sketching paper I needed, and still not finding it last night, I decided I would just BS it (excuse my language) and do it during work. I got a text from Shelley telling me class was cancelled during work, and I just felt so relieved. I was able to find parking spots at school, I talked to strangers in the hall, I made it to and from school on the empty tank-so I could make it to Smith's to be able to use my discount card, I got a letter and package from Austin, I went to dinner with my newly engaged roommate Janey and Ashley, I was able to finish a paper due today in class (ok so I've spaced it on the homework ever since I got home..), and an internship may be in store with me. TODAY WAS A GOOD DAY.

Another week has come and gone, and guess what? HE GOT HIS VISA! He's going to Mexico on Monday!! When his mom text me telling me the news, I literally started crying in class! It was such an overwhelming/amazing feeling, because I have been praying so so hard every single night for him to get his visa. He's been so ready to go to Mexico and teach those people, so it was just yet another answer to my prayers. Tomorrow's his last day he can receive letters or packages in the MTC, soooo I wanted to make sure I spoiled him again. This is what I put in an 'Airplane Survival Kit' for him!

A great thing about coming home from Thanksgiving break, was having a letter from him, and a hilarious Thanksgiving card! And, because I got to fill soooo many dots on my calendar:) The 'C' is done, and that makes me happy:)

alright, alright, i'm HORRIBLE! But, it's been a little crazy around here, and I haven't had a time all day to sit down and type! It's the 7th week today, and we got another great email! He's just really wanting to get his visa, and it still hasn't come. He is soooo ready to go to Mexico, but I know whatever happens, happens for a reason! I miss him when I'm in Mesa without him!!! Especially driving by his house! But, I can't complain..I just saw him :)

i love this picture! My mom sent it to me the other day because it's our home computers background haha. He looks so skinny it cracks me up! This was by far my favorite dances! But, aren't they all when it's your boyfriend? I just loved being with 3 of my best friends in the same group, and we just have so many great memories from that dance!

Marissa, and Brimley and I drove home today, instead of flying tomorrow! That horrible incident that that teacher from Entz got killed, that was Marissa's teacher, and my teacher's best friend. We wanted to come home for the funeral, and so we came home a day early! All I can say is, I LOVE MESA. We screamed when we saw the 101 sign. And then when we saw Mckellips, that was another story! I came home to this on my mirror:

Like, really? He wrote this when he came over before he left to say goodbye to my parents I guess! Wow, that was a great surprise to come home to! He's the cutest. AHH.

Woah. Yesterday was the best day ever. Wanna know why? Well...let's start from the beginning. Austin's parents were staying at their house in Midway this weekend, so they picked me up after work, and we were going to do some Christmas shopping for the boys' gifts, go to dinner, etc. Well, they had big chunks of change they had in envelopes to give to the boys before they traveled to the field, and we wanted to see if we could drop it off at the MTC. Well! We got to the security guard, and after about 2 minutes of describing what we had to do, he let us thru the gate. While we were sitting behind the gate, I noticed Tyler Duffin, and his companion talking to someone, and I had the urge to yell his name out the window, and as the security guard let us thru, I was about to roll down the window and yell, and I saw this really cute boy, and his companion walk out of the building...who was it? You guessed it. ELDER AUSTIN AGREN. I yelled, "oh my gosh that's Austin!" His dad stomped on the brakes, and their was Aust just smilin and waving! (Smile and wave boys, smile and wave) So we had to get to the front office fast, drop it off and get out of their!!! His dad ran into the office, while his mom and I were screaming/in total shock/ she wanted to run out of the car-ok maybe I did too, all of the sudden, I see Austin walk down the hall of the front office! Keep in mind, that our car is parked in front, and there's just a huge glass sliding door..I could see everything! He then walked up to his dad, shook hands, and they chatted for about 5 minutes. His mom was so scared he was going to get yelled at haha! The drivers seat window was down, but mine was up, and I kept peeking around the corner to take pictures and just smile, but I didn't want to be like "hey! remember me!?" So when they were leaving, he waved again, and walked off. His dad then came into the car with tears in his eyes...and we yelled at him to tell us EVERYTHING! Austin had just had a really great lesson that they taught, he said he had never felt the spirit like that before (so i can't wait to hear about it in my next letter) then, GET THIS. He said that Aust had just told his companion he felt like he needed to take a 10 minute break. Can you believe that!? He walked out exactly as we were pulling in. It was the most amazing experience ever. I will never forget that! I'm still kinda in shock to tell you the truth! Because, that had not even gone through any of our minds...seeing him that is. It was a Friday afternoon! Ahhh I don't think I have been this happy in a long time! And I don't think I will be until October 2013:)

This picture was taken on my phone and I found it the other day! It just makes me laugh, because it was taken during Christmas Break, when we finally decided we weren't just friends, and just how everything happened makes me laugh! Good memories! I miss: having conversations with Aust in our crazy accents, and laughing so hard about it!

Im thankful today, because I've been stressed out about a lot, and having a crazy week, and just wanting to go home, and Brim and I forgot to do our Aerobics study guide (wait that doesn't sound normal right? test's is aerobics? grrrr) And, I came home from work to an email of it being done. She's the absolute best.

i'm so thankful for prayer. it's the most amazing thing in the world, and i don't know how I would survive my days without it! i always feel so comforted, and just peaceful after i pray to my heavenly father. i am never scared to talk to him, cry to him, ask for forgiveness, or ask for help. he's been through everything, and he's been through everything with me. uhhhh! i love this gospel.

Have you ever been reallllllly embarrassed of something you do? Well, actually, that happens to me a lot, but that's beside the point. Last night I was driving home from a nice Sunday dinner in South Jordan, and I wish I could've video'd myself. Holy Moly, I was being so weird. I really hope no one saw me..I can't even tell you what I was doing, or how i was acting, it's too embarrassing...ok fine, I was acting like I was in a music video. And, doing other things, It was so weird.

HAPPPPPPPPPY SUNDAY! This day was great! It means I am one day closer to going home, reading an email, and getting a letter. Yes, I have my priorities straight. But, This weekend was a ball!!!!!! We went ice skating, and boy, did I get a good laugh. Please watch the video, and giggle at how funny Marissa Kay McDaniel is. and at the greasy hairy man! I have always loved making videos. When I was younger, I would lip sync Hilary Duff, and try to pose like the Olsens. This is our sportscenter-instructional video (i guess you could say) on how to ice skate!

Don't you dare think I forgot for the weekly Elder Boyfriend post. I've been really busy all day, because I got a job!! Yipee! It's just at the Response Marketing Group call center, but I like it! It's super relaxed, and I've met some great people!! There are too many test and studying, blah. And, it doesn't help that when I walk out of my 4-515 class, that it's already dark. I just wanna sleep...and eat, but that's another story. So, this week has just been stressful, because I had training monday and tuesday, and today was my first REAL day, and it was great! I just wanna get through this week! And catch up somewhat on sleep! Even though I go to sleep earlier than all of my friends, having stupid Mono screwed me over. I literally am still tired when my phone says: "this alarm will go off in 8 hrs and 58 minutes." How can that be!! Anywho...I hope every one's Wednesday was as good as mine! My favorite part from the email this week: "Our room is mice infested. Yes, believe it or not, the MTC is really old. And ghetto. ... THEY WERE UNDER MY BED EATING MY REESE'S PEANUT BUTTER CUPS!! I guess they like chocolate!" Haha.. he gets me every time. I love how spiritual he is, but that he is still the same ole' Austy Pasty and has the best humor. I miss that cutie!

He's soooo supportive, and ALWAYS gives me flowers!! Ah look at us wittle babies! CRAZZZY.

One thing I miss: I hateeeeeeee feet. Even my own. Growing up dancing always made me gag, because dancer's feet are DISGUSTING, and that's an understatement! But, Austin would always rub my feet. And I always thought it was so sweet, but weird, how he is so comfortable with my feet haha. And then, when we were watching conference with his family, his dad took off his mom's slippers, and did the same thing. And, his dad is the sweetest to his mom, it melts my heart. So, it's weird, but I miss those feet rubs! :)

Katrina came to visit me this weekend, and although we didn't take many pictures of the fun things we did, (awful waffle, Gateway mall, me driving in snow for my first time, going to boutiques, Sammy's, singing like crazy, and our deep talks!) we sure did take plenty on my laptop. I had a wee bit of a cold this weekend, so don't mind my crazy self---I think I was high on cough syrup..literally. Don't mind my kicking, and weird movements...again, I was high (or something) and I think I just wanted to show off my new Utah apparel.. I love this girl. We've always had a great friendship since our first dance class together, pom, getting through high school together-school, pom, boys, etc, and starting new chapters in our lives. I always know I can call her, or rely on her to talk to. I love her, and i can't wait till she can come up again!! :)

I can't believe it's already been 4 weeks. The days go by long, but I guess the weeks go by fast! I miss that cute boy of mine! It's hard being apart, and not being able to cry to him about things, laugh my hardest, or be my silliest! But, he's doing so amazing, and I couldn't be any more proud!!

Fun fact: He's gained 14 pounds....can that be normal?

Something I remembered today: Before he left for BYU Summer, we were laying at a golf course we snuck onto, and were talking about shooting stars, and right then and their we saw one! A moment I never want to forget!

Is it just me, or did October literally FLY by? I'm just glad that it's November for 2 reasons. Number 1: That means I go home in 21 days, and number 2: That means that it's one month closer to seeing Austin! Yes, I know I have a long time to go...but hey, I gotta tell myself these exciting things! This past Halloween weekend was a blast. Provo sure does know how to party! We had the pleasure of having Christy Ann Weed come up and visit this weekend, and it was filled with no sleep, Step Up, Guru's, Awful Waffle, playing dress up, J Dawgs, Sweet Tooth Fairy, late night hospital food, Footloose, dancing like fools, music videos, lots of pictures, inside jokes, and so much more! It was a blast to see her again!

Some things I'm loving right now:

I just got this, but I think it really works!!! I don't like any heavy foundation, and this is really light, and matched my skin color!

I used to just get on save wedding ideas (not for me, just because that's my profession, and i LOVE weddings!!!) but now I have my own, and I am obsessed!

Ok biggest picture award? But, I've tried both of these, and they are mucho yummy. Excuse my minimal Spanish knowledge..I'm trying. Brimley and I take too many of these trips though....Freshman 50? YES!

And finally, WEDNESDAYS!!!! They are my absolute FAVORITE. I may not get a personalized letter from my favorite missionary, but I do get the family emails, and it just makes me so giddy and happy when I see how he's doing, and to see how much he loves the mission, the scriptures, and the gospel. He's amazing, and he makes me try to be better.

Things I am hating right now:

This cold weather that isn't even that cold as some people say, I'm just dreading the future months!!! And, there's a really annoying train in Provo near King Henry, and I want to break the tracks.

The pictures are totally out of order, but who cares!

IT'S OCTOBER BREAK!!!! I feel like such a lazy bum today, because Brim and I only had one class, and it was Aerobics. GAH. But, I'm getting things done! I just had to take a blog stop!

Last weekend was my birthday, and boy did we have fun! I woke up to chocolate chip pancakes and Dr Pepper from Brim and Riss, I met Brooke and the kids at Thanksgiving Point for lunch, a walk around the gardens, and for cake and presents! MMM. She gave me a Down East gift card, and on my way home, they were having a sale, so OF COURSE I had to go in...it was my birthday! I then got back with a lot of good sweaters, and I went to the mailbox HOPING for a letter or something, and that's exactly what I got! It seriouslyyyy made my whole day. ( I get n email, and usually 2 letters a week!!)

That night my girlfriends and I went to California Pizza Kitchen for dinner, went to Spark for some drinks, and then we went to Josh's cabin in Midway again! like 30 Vegas kids came, so it sure was a party.

Last Monday, we went to Sandy for send-off dinner for Monson!

He's been such a good friend for such a long time, it was hard to say another goodbye! But, who couldn't be more than proud of these gentleman, right!?

Well, if the next two years fly by as quickly as this week did, then i'll be a happy girl! I got my first letter! He's loving the MTC, saying it's hard, and that it's SYL (Speak Your Language) in the classrooms, his companion is from Mesa and went to Skyline, but that he's working hard and sounds like SUCH a missionary already. It's so weird! In a good way of course!!

Also, is it weird to say I've felt almost too comforted? Joking..that's bad. I just haven't cried as much as I thought as I would, which is a good thing right? I guesss we've said way too many goodbyes, that I've cried all that I have!

I love this.

I've been in a Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Tim McGraw mood these past couple days and I LOVE IT.

My Birthday is in 2TWO2TWO2TWO2 days, and i'm excited!!!!!!!!

I now am home in Provo until Thanksgiving. It's cold, I might die!!! But, when I went home for the last weekend before Austin left, and for Conference, I had the time of my life. It seriously such an amazing weekend.

So, to start off, I got in Thursday night at like 9, and when Aust picked me up, he had the prettiest dozen roses waiting for me! They were like tie dye almost! It was cool. I think we just went back to my house and watched a movie that night.

Friday was his birthday, and i LOVE birthdays!! I woke him up with breakfast, and then we went and did baptisms for the dead, and he was able to baptize me. Because we went on a Friday afternoon, we were literally the only ones there, so it was a really spiritual and special moment for us! Then, we showered and got ready for the night, and went and saw MONEYBALL. & <--- such an awesome movie. Definitely recommend it. I then took him to Cheesecake Factory, and then my parents met us for Cheesecake. And I loved that, because I didn't have to pay:)

Saturday my mom let me sorta sleep in...I'll read the talks I missed later..and then I had huge Interior Design projects that I had to do, so she helped me while we watched the end of the first session at conference. Austin then came over, and we had lunch, then watched the second session together.

Sunday, we had breakfast with my parents and watched conference, had lunch with his parents watched conference, had dinner with my family, and had an emotional night to say the least!

Monday morning (this is good) Austin was supposed to take me to the airport. After I text him to make sure he was awake, and he didn't respond, I got a lil nervous. So I called, no answer. I started to freak out. There was NO WAY that I was leaving without seeing him. So my mom drove me to his house while she was calling his mom, and at this time I am an emotional WRECK. I got the nerves to knock on his door, ring the door bell, and finally his mom answered. Long story short, She woke him up, he took me to the airport, and I couldn't stop crying because soooooo many emotions were running thru my body at that time. I was then late for check-in so it wasn't guaranteed that my bag would be on my flight, and I had to pay $50 because it was over the weight limit, because my mom sent me home with like 20 home design magazines, and I didn't want to put them in my backpack or leave them. Once I got to SLC, I found out my bag was on the next flight, which got in at 9:15, and I had class at 10. So, I waited for my bag, took the shuttle to my car, and well, I forgot where I parked. So, I had ANOTHER break-down. After I found my car, and by the time I made it to class, I was in Aerobics for 10 minutes. When I got home, I took a hour nap, then had to study for a test, and do more homework. So, by the time it was 6, I was sooo ready to go to bed. But, Ashley made me go to FHE, and I'm glad she did.

Tuesday, Aust and CJ got set apart, and waiting for the last 2 minute phone call was making me go crazy. And by Wednesday, I was just so ready to see him. We all went to iHop for breakfast, and that eased everyone's nerved I think. When I saw him walk in, it just made me smile from ear-to-ear, and that handshake was killer, but I loved it. Let me tell ya that I think my guy friends are amazing. When we were taking pictures at the end, the boys all did a sorta group hug thing, and Brim and I broke down. I was doing SO good, just trying not to think about it, but they are all just amazing, and I'm so thankful I have such amazing examples in my life. I then left with The Agren family to take the boys to the MTC, because if you didn't know..I was there sister..? WOW. The drop-off is the quickest thing ever. But, when he told me he'd see me in 2 years, I lost it, once again, because I want to see him in 2 years sooo sooo bad, and have everything be the same. Well, better than how it was. Anyways, I went home, had a cry sesh, but I felt this overcoming peace. I had been praying all week that I could stay calm, feel comforted, and just be supportive. Still to this day, I'll have little baby cries about checking my phone when it rings, and it's not him, or just little things like that, but I have never felt so comforted in my life. And, I'm really thankful for that. I can't wait to receive that first letter, because I will be the happiest girl around. So, for those who've asked, I'm doing ok. I really am. I couldn't be anything but proud, because I know this is what he has to do, and what we have to do. I'm going to be completely selfish now, and plan this next journey in my life! Thanks to all who have sent me sweet texts, phone calls, Facebook messages, etc. It has really meant a lot to feel loved, and knowing that everything will be alright. I love you all.

In a week from tomorrow my best friend will be going on a mission. I am dreading the fact that I will no longer have anyone to talk to on my drives home from UVU, have a poke war on Facebook with, laugh at the stupid texts we send each other, or cry with because we miss each other so much. I am veryyyyy excited for this amazing opportunity we both have to support one another in the new obstacles we will be facing.

I was having a rough time when I got back from my farewell/wedding weekend in AZ. I had been home for only a few short hours and I began to cry to my mom of how hard this is going to be. I just had to be reminded of how the Lord asks us to do tough things, but that once we do them, the outcome is much greater. My mom gives the most amazing advice, AFTER she listens.

Her birthday, and Brimley's birthday are tomorrow, and I feel so blessed to have those two in my life, let alone know such amazing people that share birthdays! I can't wait to go home again on Thursday, but I'm dreading the goodbye that will be presented on Monday morning. We've said wayyyy too many of those.

If you're wondering what's up with my title..being all squishy and stuff..that's how all my texts have had to be lately. My space button doesn't work...unless I want to wait 2 minutes per word, which I don't, and because itssometimesfuntomakepeopleusetherebrainwhentheyhavetoreadmytexts!

Yesterday, I had a sore throat, today I did too. I chugged some of Shelleys medicine..i don't know what it was, I had a coldbuster, taken Advil, and have drank a tonnnnn of liquids. WHAT TO DO. I don't want to go home on Wednesday being sick. UGH! Oh...did I mention i'm going home wednesday!? For Austin's sisters wedding, and his farewell, and I can't wait to see that cute boy. Oh and to see my momma! I saw my dad this week for a golf tournament, but he's not the same as my mom! This weekend we went to Josh Funk's cabin in Midway for maybe the last time, because it might have gotten sold :( It was a blast! Also, my first BYU game as a college student! Can i get a woo woo!

Poor Brim had to leave after this, because something is seriously wrong with her tooth...Riss had to take her to ER for some pain killers. Horrible right? I hate being away from home and not feeling good. NO FUN!

Ok, So i've moved to Provo, I'm going to UVU, and I LOVE IT. I have been a major slacker, and I'm not going to start saying i'm going to get better, because I doubt I will! Anywho, I'm lovin where I live, and my schedule, which consists of 10-1 on M & W, 830-515 T & TH <----- That one...kills me sometimes wakin up that early, but, i have like a 3 hour break in the afternoon which is a nice rest, with Brimley, and we catch up on Bachelor Pad, or other really great shows that are great for the soul. For my first weekend, and first Friday without school, and Monday off because of a great holiday, I thought I'd be able to sleep in, do laundry, organize my last things in my room, etc. NOPE.

I watched Soul Surfer with Ashley Thursday night, and made milkshakes, and then we wanted to go to sleep, cause we are lame! Well, I was on the other line with Austin, and Brimley called me like 4 times, so I decided to call her back, and she says, 'Pack, we are going to Montana.' Um excuse me? The Tanner's have a beautiful home on Flathead Lake in Montana, and I guess Josh had said he was bored, and that we should go to Montana. So, Beau agreed to it, and we left. Yes, it was a blast. There house is amazingly beautiful, and I have never laughed so hard in my life. We left at 130 in the morning if you were wondering..and besides getting home at 2am Tuesday morning, not going to bed till 4 to finish some homework, it was the best decision of my life!!! I haven't wanted to take the time to update my blog, because all i'm focused on, is getting ready for provo, and coining down the hours till I see Austin (which is around 120 right now). It's so weird to be buying dishes, like to be on my own. It's an odd feeling, and I don't know if I like it.

Yes, we did get into So You Think You Can Dance, and it was the funnest short weekend trip ever. I loved it! And soo happy my mom came too. Love her.

I hate waking up before I HAVE to wake up for work. Especially when it's for the gym. But, it's always worth it, and I feel refreshed! This morning I came home and made a nice lil spinach and ham omelet, and it was mmm mmm GOOD! I am leaving tomorrow for a last minute trip to L.A. with my mother, mindy, and her mother, and two younger sisters! Some nice person gave her dad 2 VIP tickets to So You Think You Can Dance, and the 2 younger sisters are able to use them. Well, for the rest of us, we are just going to wish and hope (and you will cross your fingers for me!) that we also get in on Thursday's show! Ahh it would be amazing if we got in! So, we are going to have a fun girls weekend in Cali, which is totally fine by me! :)

Also, Im struggling with the whole college-in-exactly-one-month thing. I feel like I have sooo much to do, and soooo little time! Because the last 10 days before I go, I will only wanting to be spending time with Austin and nothing else, haha! I can't wait to get up to Provo and start a new chapter in my life! The waiting kills me!!

i LOVE surprises! i seriously love surprising people with things, whether it's a note, or something extreme, but i get on a SERIOUS high when i surprise people! i think i enjoy them more than the people getting surprised haha. yesterday i decided to call and get pizza & wings delivered to Austin at his dorm! because it was a difficult process i made sure austin knew that he had to be sitting in the lobby waiting for something. the whole day i just couldn't wait for 6:30 to roll around and for him to not have to eat at the cannon center, or to spend money on dinner again! well, he WAS surprised, and i think he liked it!

Today Brim and I were swimming, and i heard a car speed away, and it sounded like Austy's loud Charger, and my dad ran out saying 'i have a special delivery!!' with a box in his hand! and THIS is what i received!

isn't that just the cutest! i never do anything expecting something in return, but it really did make me all smiley and giddy! i miss him a lot!!

alright, let's start talkin about SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE..i am in LOVE with this season! my favorite solo from wednesday was Melanie's, because first off: she's amazing, duh. secondly: she has sooo much control, and is a beautiful dancer thirdly: i loved the song, and finally: she makes me realllly miss dancing. but who doesn't!?

I have been stressed out to the max about not even starting to clean out my closet, figuring out work and school schedule, saying goodbye to many people i love, etc. So, tonight, i was a little bugged, may or may not have taken it out on my mom, and stayed at home all night. I know, i'm seriously lame. I randomly looked on tiffany co. for engagement rings, and pretty jewelry! Just because we all know we'd love to be showered with pretty gifts saying 'i love you' right? Anyways, that got me pretty happy! Just thinking about people I know getting married, people I hope will be getting married, me getting married..in a longggg time, and just weddings! That's why I am soo excited to hopefully become a wedding planner! They just make me so happy!!

I'm just babbling, but last night we had another farewell to Marissa, and Emily at dinner at BJ's, and then we hit up the Gap sale, and I knew i shouldn't have brought my wallet with me, but of course, I DID! we then came back, did silly stuff, giggled, and made some funny videos! I love my friends.

Painting my nails annoys me so much. It takes so much time, and especially when I spend more money than needed on dang nail polish. I purchased Essie no chips ahead, thinking oh this sounds great! I'll spare some bucks to get great nails!

I painted the prettiest pretty of light pink on my nails, and I love it when i use it! subtle, but very pretty. Anyways i'm just ranting. But, I thought 'ooh ! i'll use my essie top coat!' BAD IDEA. my pretty nails are now bubbly and gross. I don't understand. They were dry for at least 6 hours! So annoying. Now, I have to start all over, and no, i will not be using the top coat.

I like essie nail polish, just not the top coat. Sorry for the rant:)

It's been a joke for the longest time with the friends that go to California together that 'carl is bad' because we go to Carlsbad..get it? Yeah, it's quite hilarious..but, carlsbad is NEVER bad to me. I hate leaving. This year was no different at all! Although Morgan's week was before us because of a weird 4th of July, I went over on the Wednesday before the 4th, and I was soo happy I was able to at least see her! It's not the same without the Davis' at the beach that's for dang sure! Austin, and Chris came to the beach with me and Caitlyn for 5 days, and I couldn't have been happier! It definitely made the trip different, but I wouldn't have changed it for the world! Here, is a PHOTO OVERLOAD (because I can).

Soooo, if you didn't remember, my name's Rylee. Wow. I havent posted for the longest time, because my dang computer wouldnt let me push publish? It was theeee craziest thing. BUT i'm back now!

At 4am, after the grad party, my 7 best friends and I went to Newport for 5 days, for our Senior Trip! If you read my blog, for the 2 people that do (THANKS MOM), you are my friend on FB and I'm sure I dont need to do a photo OVERLOAD, so here's my favorite gals in front of our cute lil yellow beach house. It was a SERIOUS blast to say the least!

All summer I've been working for my brother in law still, just chillin, wishing all our guy friends, and Austin, didnt ditch us and go to Provo for the summer, going to my dads singles ward, being a part of the FHE committee, counting down the days till carlsbad with my best friends and family, and the weeks till I go to Provo myself and attend UVU. It's all soo exciting!!

Right now, I'm currently sitting in my friend Shelley's apartment at King Henry, waiting for Austin to wake up, because when I did this post, I couldnt say this, but now the SURPRISE happened, so I can spill. YEsterday, we thought Aust's call would come, so I hopped on a plane, and surprised him in the Bookstore at BYU. Oh My, it was the best experience of my life (besides waking up at 4am, having a row to myself thinking I could sleep, and being by a screaming baby so I couldnt, and for the fact that his call DIDNT come) He was in 'shock mode' for probably 10 minutes. Ha it was so cute. So I'm here, we partied, I'm with my best friend, and all the other guys, and I'm loving it. Hopefully his call comes today, but if not, i'l just have to take another trip up!!

I'm graduated, and I couldnt be happier! It still hasn't really hit me yet, because I have been living the life in Newport with my best friends this past weekend. It's just so crazy to think about! I remember thinking my parents are going to be sooo old when I graduate! And now, I did, and they're old, I mean that in the nicest way mom, but not old to me. I remember thinking my mom would have longgg gray hair. I'm such a weirdo! But, life is good, and more posts and pictures and info will come! xoxo

i'm becoming the worst blogger ever, and i seriously hate it. i read everyone else's and just ignore mine. poor lil baby. those pictures are from easter weekend when i had the opportunity to go to california for our prom day activity! awesome right right!? we went to huntington the first day, and knotts berry the next, and laughed 24/7. it was a small group, with rockin parents, and i loved it!

on friday, my teacher said we only have 3 FRIDAYS LEFT. and, i started crying. i'm just sad now, it's depressing. prom is next saturday woo! then i graduate, austin turns in his mission papers, then a fun senior trip, austin gets his call, i go to carlsbad, i keep working, and then i move to provo. maybe i'l let a few fun days slide into the mix of that, but it's seriously freaking me out. don't get me wrong, i was ready since 2nd grade to graduate, but its bitter sweet!

I am so thankful I was able to watch Conference this weekend, and be in the same 'room' as these amazing men that help me through my everyday life. OK. So, I had this blog post done on Saturday, and I decided to countdown the days to graduation, and when it appeared 69, I didn't know if ya'll would judge me, so, I decided to stick with posting it in a couple days! :) Instead of doing a huge catch up like I usually do, I'm a startin fresshhh. So, this is my SPRING BREAK!!!

But..I have to brag bout this..Mountain View was named STATE BASKETBALL CHAMPS! wooot woot

On Sunday night, there was a 30 year olds mardi gras b-day exstravaganza. Since it was in Ashlie's gated community, everyone was invited! We think!? So we stopped on by, and it had everything from face painting, fire blowing, dance floor, hot dog stand, cotton candy, blow up bouncies and jousting, liquor booth..eww, candy bar, dj, and everyone was dressed up! Except for us..as you can see. We had a little too much fun with our faces! It was a good start of the break though thats for sure!

On Tuesday, my parents got a room for my friends and I at the Phoenician! We did this last year, and decided to again! We like to call it a staycation, because we were far enough away to make it feel like a vaca, and all we needed was to be together! :)

Those who had daily activities that couldnt sleep over met us up for dinner, and fun!

A nightly ritual...but really.

THIS deserves its on post! I participated in Distinguished Young Women (Junior Miss) this year, and it was THE BEST experience of my life. I made sooo many close relationships, and became closer with the ones I already had! I don't have Steve Nissel pictures yet, they are soo out of order, and I didnt even take any on my own camera!! But, I'm really glad I did it, and that I have so many amazing friends and family that support me in anything I do!

Today was the funniest of funniest days. EVER. I'm loving being in Stained Glass first hour, because A sometimes I can be sneeky and slip in late (if she catches me one more time i have saturday school-another story for another post) and B i have great people in my hour. Some friends, and some total weirdos, so it makes it for a fun class! Now that we are all working on our final mosaics, we all can chat the whole hour, because we are always sitting at the table...cutting, gluing..and repeat! I hadn't gotten a lot of sleep, and so I was kinda hyper/tired..but I'm not a morning person, but i'm ususally REALLY hyper 24/7. Anywhoooo, We quoted SNL the whole hour. The other tables were staring rudely at me, because I was legit crying. When I got to second hour, I literally had barely any makeup on! It was great! Then, at lunch, Chris & Riss & I had another memorable lunch adventure. Long story short, Marissa did something so freaking funny, right while I was sipping my Dr.Pepper..remember I was tired? I had to get something besides water for once! I've never had anything come up my nose from laughing so hard, but I had my first experence, and it was with DR PEPPER! it burned!!! And, there were no napkins in the car, and my friends wouldnt get me any. Anyways..it gets funnier, but a tad innapropraiet, so i'll stop here. But I just love funny days!

Another funny day I had was on Saturday! MY DAY ACTIVITY! I'm taking Austin, and we dressed up 80's went to in n' out, skateland, and then came back to my house for pickle ball competitions, b & vball, and smores! Twas fun! Here's some pics of the fanfreakintastic night. And really..I'm going back to skateland, because it was a BLAST!

Halloween came really fast this year. It seriously seems like we JUST started school. All of the gals dressed up as something different, and because you know us, took a TON of pictures. Christy was workin at Sweet Cakes all night, so we decided to go hang with her, and help her close early! hehe.

Bunker's dad happened to just be sittin on a chair in the driveway just people watchin and chattin, and all the sudden when we are about to leave, he appears with 2 HUGE bags of HGE pink and white marshmallows. such a sweetie right! Well..we look at them and i'm not kidding..maybe 2 years old! It's the thought that counts right! ha. so..all night, we tore them into pieces and threw them at cars. We never do stuff like this, because if it was me, i would be FURIOUS! just like when i got hit with the milkshake (another story, another time). Anywho...it was a blast! :)

This Sunday has been so beautiful. I love when it's a little chilly outside, but feels oh so nice. Singles Ward 'dinner groups' were tonight, so a bunch were over at my house. We ate outside, and had great conversation, and it was one of those nights that you just have a great time!

Anyways, yesterday, I was thinking about some things. I used to say that I regretted some things, but, I saw this quote, and it changed my thinking.

Never regret something that once made you smile.

As I'm thinking about college and what-not, its weird to think how fast time flies by! It's finally hit that i'm a senior, and i have so many decisions to make. The decisions we make effect us so much. I was thinking about the decisions I've made in the last 3 years.

Not doing Pom my Junior or Senior year was something that I used to regret. But, then I remembered, if I would've done Pom, I wouldnt have gotten the opportunity to expand into different friendships like I have in the last couple years. It's just so weird to me how life works to be honest. Just because of ONE decision, it can change your friendships instantly. In some ways or another.

Just something to think about. I never want to regret the friendships I make, or the decisions I put in front of me. Sorry to maybe make you feel gloomy now (well, for the 3 people that read this).

I just want to remember that I've smiled a lot in my life, (Smiley Rylee) and that must mean something! So, from now on, I'm going to try to be extra positive, and be regretLESS!

Because I have NO time to update all these dang pictures, this is the easiest way!! I recently went to Utah for October Break and stayed at Ashlie's cabin! It was a BLAST! We shopped, watched movies, and relaxed! My camera broke (the flash) so some pictures didnt turn out, so luckily Ash lended me some! It was my birthday on the
14th, and they made me feel at home! Then I came home to a fab sunday dinner!! Loved it! Thanks to Busy Bee Lauren who reminded me of this great song!!!

i went up to conference with the fam: stayed with shell friday night, nat came down from rexburg, and it was a party!!! i left my suitcase in provo. darn! so i HAD to stay another night. it was great livin the college life for the weekend!

on saturday, i had my homecoming day activity, and it sure was a blast! we went to canyon lake, on a bunch of boats, and my boat was the lucky one stocked with all the food! it was great!! we cliff jumped, tubed, and i actually surprisingly did well wakeboarding! considering i havent for probably 2 years! i had a blast with kyle too!

Sunday, I came home from church, and decided to turn on some tele. Disney was the only thing that had something good on, and it was Wizards of Waverly Place..and I usually don't care for that show. So..getting to the point..Selena Gomez's new music video came on, and I was MESMERIZED! She is absolutely gorgeous & flawless. I totalllly wish I was her! Seriously. You can see for yourself!

Why do i let myself go this long without posting and then have a huge long post no one wants to read..including myself!? BEATS ME!!! Soo lets begin this wonderful game of 'Catch Up'!

So..to start..my 2 good guy friends Keaton Shaker, and David Schmidt (yes..my old boyfriend), had their mission farewells-same ward! So it was great!! They both are going to be such amazing missionaries.

Last weekend, we went to a chocolate sauce fight in Kensignton Park! Man..that was awesome!! You can see the before and after pictures below! We then came over, swam in the then disgusting pool, and watched a movie! Very fun night!

I got asked to HOMECOMING!! Yay!! I'm so happy! And.. all of my friends got asked too! Which makes it fun/easier!! And..I'm going with a good friend-Kyle Hatfield! Can't wait!!

Then..this weekend, we went to the Mesquite & Desert Ridge football game! We are good friends with some of the boys from Mesquite, who invited us, and my really good friend Parker, who I took to Sadies, now goes to Desert Ridge, and is once again the starting quarterback!! It's so fun to get to know people from other schools! I love it!

After the game, we got the new snack size Mcflurries (why didnt they invent those sooner!!), and headed down to Old Town Gilbert to a little park, and just chatted and took some pics!!

Then..Saturday..we did a bunch of driving, talking, crazy music videos, and awesome pictures..we were crrrraaazzy. I forgot to mention we did this for about 5 minutes..after we sat on our lazy booties, and watched L.A. Ink all night. Don't ask me why. But..it sure was fun!

well..

this is why!

I really took a lot of time to take these awesome shots (not!), but I am very proud of my NEW closet! Before school started, I went through my closet, cleaned, organized, and sorted! So YES i love shoes. I don't know why, I just always have since I was a little kid! Usually, my closet is just a pile of shoes on my floor, because I have no where to put them! Its truly sad. Although I have so many cute (i think) heels, i rarely wear them! :( I have this weird thing that I dont want to be 6'1", when i'm only wearing 3 inch heels!? Most of the time, my friends tell me to wear them anyway, because I guess that's the cool thing to do..be wayyy taller than the already shorter boys than me? I guess..!

Anywho, school has been great! Love my classes, love my friends, love my teachers, love going to school. Ok, i went toooo far. But, I actually do like being at school! It's a great schedule to be in, I get out after 5th hour, and going out for lunch makes things fly by! It hasnt really 'hit' that i'm a senior yet. i've heard its a different feeling? But, i just feel normal! But abnormally AWESOME!!! kidding.

Kinda sad to say, I ran away from my mom for the annual first day pic, I know..so sad..

i've been going in for last minute appointments before school started, and i was at the dentist went my nightmare happened. lets see.. i have probably had maybe 2 or 3 cavities, and it seriously freakkkks me out. anyways, i got my teeth cleaned, and when i met with my doctor he asked what was up with the teeth. well being surprised yet honest, i said "uhhh they're good?!" he said no pain on the left side? "noo?" come to find out..i have a really bad cavity, down to the nerve..and if they did what they normally do, the nerve would die. short story: i'm getting a root canal on Monday. i thought that was only for old people?! like I'm seriously freaking out. pray for me.

funny lil coincedence in my life. in charlie st cloud, there's a big part in the movie about a poem from e.e. cummings. the day after seeing this movie, as I was preparing to leave, a movie involving cameron diaz, and a story about her and her sister hating eachother, also involved a poem from..you guessed it, e.e. cummings. just thought it was quite funny!

we're drivin home from vegas right now from a successful trip. 3 days, and it was super duper fun! baby laney got blessed, and the blessing was amazing, and she looked absolutely presh!! it was fun just because it was my parents and I, and ryans brother who is a junior, and their parents. oh but may I add we are now in the same ward! after like 6 years of their marriage, they decided they just couldn't get enough of us & moved in :). but I love that they were high school sweethearts, and that they (and my other sister and her hubby) are such amazing examples to me! love them! photos to come shortly! have a fab Monday!

Soo no, this title has nothing to do with the post, dont you worry. Last night a few hot chicks and I went to see Charlie St. Hottie McSteamy Cloud at midnightt. ya, we got there at 9, so we had three hours to do whatever the heck we want. And, you can get an idea of what we did, by going here.

Nat brought her laptop, so it sure kept us easily entertained. Especially when we blog stalked for about an hour in Chik Fil A with about 6 17 year olds, and 5 14 year olds! good times good times. Yes, i would recommend the book, and the movie!

We woke up to go to a 7:30 class, after we got home at 1 from seeing Eclipse. MY FRIENDS ARE PSYCHOOO. But I went and it was fun! I mean, ya my toosh and thighs are a little sore, but super fun. Especially, since their were about 5 ladies in their from my ward..

*SWIMMING! Especially with those^ ladies ^ (i miss you brim & shell!). My pool is more like a jacuzzi now, but I love it!!

*Apples & Bananas?? No..Apples & Peanut Butter!! Mmmm...sometimes I just wake up and have this. It's so addicting..I love it!

hope everyone's summer is goin swell! school starts in less than a month..blahhh! SENIOR YEAR baby! woot woot!

I know i know..a little ridic, but i wanna get these posts done with! Here's this years trip in a nutshell! filled with: fun, food, outlets, baptisms at san diego temple, friends, family, sand, versace, cessy's, crayola car, nail polish, swimsuits, grey's anatomy, 24, TLC, Lifetime, aero beds, doughnuts, "walnuts", late night parties, bonfires, boogie boarding, ocean, blankets, sea creatures, walks, more food, and so much more! this year we went for two weeks. stayed at the sheraton for the first, then down at the condo the second. i had a blast!!! eventhough the weather was depressing and we were mostly in sweats then swimsuits, i just love reading a book on the beach!! mmm i miss it. thanks daddy for always making sure we can go every year!
